Still can't believe a man tried to overthrow a presidential election, had help from numerous federally elected & state elected officials and widely known political operatives

And was supported by multiple foreign agents and heads of state

Is allowed to run for president

Not a single leader of the insurrection is in jail or even tried.

Justice takes time
This is complex
Justice Department has to get it right
They only get one chance to get him/them

Those excuses are white supremacy talking points.

Every person in this nation knows what happened, that it was illegal, and that the organizers and leaders should be in prison

Trials should be over. Time should be being served

That none of them are, and they are all doing it again proves how deeply ingrained white supremacy is

It infests media and those who are supposed to speak truth to power and expose government of/by/for the people...

That so many people accept this situation as normal and part of the process tells me just how pervasive and insidious supremacy is.

We are abused by republicans/trump and as a country we are making excuses for our abuser

We have stopped calling the police

We are depending on a "stay away order"

We are telling relatives we hit our heads or fell on the stairs

We are saying he will be better this time

If you've ever been abused or witnessed abuse. If you've rescued someone being abused or treated them

You've heard all of that and more and worse

That is who we are right now. We're hoping our voting saves us again

Voting didn't save us from Jan 6th. But we have to try again

Because as so many women can tell you, calling the cops on an abuser is calling a profession staffed by abusers....doesn't help but often extends harm

We called the justice department & like low level cops, they're blaming us, & telling us about paperwork & restraining orders

Intelligent people on here - lay folk and lawyers - say wait for the wheels of justice.. wait, it'll happen..

Then we see the attacks on the Georgia DA, a judge in Florida mucking things up, delays, stalls, more delays.

All we can hold onto is he's being fined. Yippie.

But he won't have campaign money they say..

Did everyone forget he got billions of free airtime last two times he ran?

That he gets daily tv coverage for every "speech" and rally?

That networks and cable will ignore the president and vice president but never ignore him?

Yes we will vote. Yes he will lose.

Those facts do not change what we are witnessing with the failure of the legal profession to deal with america's biggest most dangerous criminal enterprise since the civil war.

The criminal enterprise that is openly planning the next coup. The next deportation orders. The next capitulation to foreign enemy leaders

That side is comforting and platforming nazis at their rallies in between nazis marching in multiple states including Tenn

What do we have?

Hoping to hurt the only president and party keeping us from fascism. What the absolute fuk

I will say again - vote early for Biden/Harris and every democrat in your city and state.

It is our best and only chance to keep this thing viable.

There's no help coming, no cops to the rescue, and no lawyer in a sharp suit that'll save us.

Its ballots or else. end

This MFer is an enabling political pawn.

If there is one thing I am disappointed that Biden has a direct say, is not letting this clown go three years ago.

Sarah Kendzior tried to warn us on day one.
