Apparently more parents are "really against" keeping their kids alive.

... not vaccinating children should be considered child abuse and neglect and treated as such.

My mom survived a childhood case of polio with "only" a polio limp and pretty serious scoliosis. She told stories about how terrifying it was when polio swept through towns, and kids died, or were paralyzed, or ended up on iron lungs. She could not fathom how anyone could be AGAINST vaccination!

In some US states, Kindergarten vax rates have dropped to about 80%. It is estimated that could drop to under 70% in the next few years.

Measles, Pertussis, Polio are all just waiting to really get in high gear. Then some parent will be on CNN crying, "why didn't anybody tell us?" Ugh.

I feel like a little rant here. Pertussis (whooping cough) is really nasty. Infants can start getting the Pertussis vaccine series at 2 months, but aren't substantially protected until 6 months. Whooping cough loves to kill babies. It's a horrible death according to my RN wife. We rely upon

Given who was given the questionnaire, not a surprise. And yet, the numbers still trend to vaccination (86 percent in some form) over anti-vaxx. I think they would be significantly lower if general populace answered.

Vaccine avoidance started well before tfg. But he certainly didn't help matters.

I lived through rubella and measles. When my kids were little they got all the vaccines and they are all now thriving in their 30’s. Yep, vaccines work.
