It is possible they wasn't to make clear that official actions taken as President for the good of the nation are considered immune, but criminal acts like 1/6 are not. Here's hoping.

They could have clarified that in future cases. They could have said they'd hear it but not grant the stay. I want to believe you, but this court has been irresponsible for years now. I've gone from little faith in it to zero faith.
