A Tennessee firm hired 24 kids as young as 13 in meat-processing plants -- making them clean kill floor equipment like head splitters and meat saws

US Dept of Labor has sued to stop the firm, Fayette Janitorial Services, from exploiting kids

Child labor laws must be ENFORCED

I see this as the other side of the immigration crackdown stance. They want to force kids and surely prisoners to do the work that immigrants would have otherwise done.

The meat processing company should be just as liable for the work done on their property as the company that hires kids...no skirting responsibilities with subcontractors.

How about letting the parents in and letting THEM do that work? Like probably so many of them would be happy to?

They need jobs. U.S. companies need employees. IT'S NOT COMPLICATED.
