Moving on, daylight savings, curious what do you think?

It should be standard time all year long. No more of this extending the days for summer. They're long enough.

As it’s been said for a long time:
“Make hay while the sun shines.”
Sleeping while the sun is up,
isn’t the way America was built.

LOL... I know this is big for many, but there are so many other issues that occur to me as much more significant that need attention.

Just my 2 cents

My dog is very confused by the time switch twice a year. I've tried explaining the notion to him with graphs and everything, but he's not havin' it. Told me this morning, "WTF? This sucks! I'm still sleeping. No, I don't want to go for a bloody walk! It's still dark!"

I don't care where we freeze it but I desperately wish we would stop changing it. 2x a year I've gotta plan to have a bad/weird sunday/Monday
And I perceive zero benefit

As someone who has spent his life in construction, starting @ 7am, please just stay on standard time. Daylight comes late enough in the winter as it is

Counterpoint: It would start getting light in the summer at like 4 and start getting dark at 8. I agree with you about winter, but over all I like the changes.

1. Stop changing clocks. DST serves no purpose. If you want to get up earlier or stroll later, do what you like w/o whipsawing the world.
2. Put east coast on Atlantic time where it belongs. That Boston & Detroit are in the same time zone makes no sense.
3. Permanent DST = change time zone w no DS

Stop changing the clocks! It’s idiotic. Let states vote on whether they stay on permanent Standard Time or Daylight Saving Time. And then it’s locked in. ⏰ Deal? 🙏🏻

I heard someone suggest we change them by 30 min next time and then just never change them again

I quite liked that idea
