I've never voted for a Republican in any federal, state, or local election, ever.
Democrats have always been the better choice.

I can tell you all who I voted for when I was able to for president.
1. John Kerry
2. Barack Obama (twice)
3. Hillary Clinton
4. Joseph Biden.
Note all 4 are Democratic, and not one republican vote.

I probably have, by default. Our city council elections are ostensibly nonpartisan. I have voted for those in either higher ed or some branch of human services, every time. I figure even if they're not Democrats, they've dealt with a variety of people.

The non-partisan elections can be tricky. Being able to look up Ohio voter registration on commercial websites has steered me away from or toward, for example, school board candidates. I don't like those websites, but since the info is there ....

I can't say that. I've voted for Republicans in state and local elections (Arlen Specter, town council members, mayors, and county commissioners, for example), but none since 2004.

Most of those I voted for back then are either dead or no longer Republicans.
