When Christopher says "do a hard refresh" in order to get all the new Spoutible features on your laptop...what does that mean? Hit the refresh button...or logout & back in...or turn off and on your computer....

In response to Professor Kyle.
Hold CTRL and hit F5. It tells the browser to not use cached assets for the current web page, so things like CSS style sheets for display, Javascript for dynamic logic, etc. are all refreshed with the current versions from the server, even if they're not considered stale cache-wise.

For Windows? No, a soft refresh is when you just hit F5 (or use the refresh button in the browser). CTRL-F5 for a hard refresh has been the norm long enough that I do it without a 2nd thought (guessing somewhere in the late 90s/early 2000s?). Long time dev, so it's a bit of a blur.
