Rules must apply to our young minds. Like no means no.
Why not go have a light discussion with the principal and come to an acceptable in school style (that is what his parents signed off on)

What bullshit. I'm white. In high school, I could have my hair any fucking way I wanted except for the constant battle with my father about length. This is about the student's skin color and nothing more. It's an attempt to dominate.
