There are only 14 countries in the world that offer full legal rights to women. The US is not one of them.

Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands

I'm surprised Australia isn't on the list. As a woman living here, I find my rights very equal...

Is that all !?!? Seems to me that the rest of the world has some serious equality catching up to do.

Seems the omission of Finland is particularly glaring.

My gawd, where’s Finland pre-fascism? They always had and excellent and equal society up until the last election.

We deserve full equal rights. Every woman in America should hang this on every wall we see and get and stay motivated to do what we have to do before we can’t.

Proud to say my home country (the Netherlands) is one. I've been thinking a lot about going back there when I retire.

Sorry to contradict you, but in France there is no equal pay : more particulary concerning pensions.

Very interesting. If the abortion pill gets deauthorized by the insane TX Judge, USA score likely gets lower, right?

US like Canada are colonizer governments, so NO. BIPOC Peoples are not equal & therefore BIPOC Women are not.

Are 2SLGBTQ+ also equal in all those countries? NO

Am not going to be swayed by looking at colonial man lens stats put forth by the World Bank, etc

I realized hat the moment I moved to this country from Canada & England. The Bronx was so dirty and white flight was in full effect. I learned to love the Bronx because of the Caribbean diaspora mixed with native born African Americans to create hip Hop and many other great cultural products.

The US does NOT have equal rights for women. No equal pay. No bodily autonomy. The US should be deleted from the list.

Unfortunately, it tracks. The U.S. has so much work to do, but now that we’re back to readjusting child labor laws, I don’t know if we’re ready for the future; progression is daunting and dangerous for a lot of people.

Considering that women in the US do not have bodily autonomy, I think our score should be much lower.

I agree. Seems strange that they didn't take that into account at all. The USA's score is still the same as the 2022 report.
