Considering that women in the US do not have bodily autonomy, I think our score should be much lower.

I agree. Seems strange that they didn't take that into account at all. The USA's score is still the same as the 2022 report.

I wonder if the rankings are based on national laws, rather than state laws.

Perhaps. But if that is the case, then having no national law to protect women against forced reproduction should probably subtract from the score. Probably, the publisher didn't think of that. The publisher is probably a man.
