#BotSentinel . We’ve all probably had some negative experience with assessment. Grades in school. Evaluations at work. Etc. But if you’re running a platform, it’s your responsibility to assess if users are disruptive. You can make that assessment publicly or privately. I prefer publicly.

Public or Private isn't the real issue here, what I have seen on EVERY platform over time is a subtle shift where simply having, (and being able to monetize) users takes priority over user quality. Simply put platforms allow horrible people to stay because it boosts user count.

And user count is what you show advertisers, then don't give a shit that 25% of your "active users" are legitimate nazis, they just care about the number.

I truly hope this site stays different, and continues to boot these people.

Totally agree. Botsentinel put a complete halt on my useless angered replies to disruptive accounts (which reduces the amplification of their posts). It soothes our approach and improves our follower's timeline in the process. Win/win 👍
