The process of making fabric from bamboo, eucalyptus or another tree starts w/ the raw plant, but the raw plant materials are chemically dissolved to the point that they no longer exist in the final fabric, so the products are derived FROM bamboo or whatever, but not MADE of them.

how about bamboo floss? I’m curious bc I just started using it a few months ago, do you know if it’s just basically rayon too?

I don't know, but rayon is biodegradable (if not eco-friendly to make) so it's not as destructive to the environment as typical floss which is usually plastic. I would hope it's 100 bamboo though, in which case it's a win/win!
