Sad thing is, a lot of these people—through their own interpretation of religion or philosophy, think they ARE helping, by letting people twist in the wind and "figure it out." They misapply the "Teach a man to fish" proverb for example to feel good about denying assistance.

I don't think they actually believe it. I think they are terrible people who enjoy hurting others, but they use that as an excuse so they can pretend not to be.

It's nice to want the US & 🌎 to be this way, yah? 💕 But, lawmakers are the most injurious people. 20% may be empathetic towards humanity. The rest are sordid people. It's in their DNA. Over 200 yrs now.

Until a % of people respects all of humanity, infliction of the worst kind is here to stay.
