Another state takes a giant step backwards by banning DEI, with the bill being aimed at restricting "divisive concepts". And all I want to say is that DEI is only a divisive concept if you are a freaking bigot. The rest of us understand that groups that are underrepresented need certain protections.

I talked to my state representative about this "devisive concepts" bull crap. He knows how I feel, and he won't get my vote again.

He's another one of those really nice "I'm friendly and have Democrat friends in the state house" but votes against DEI.

It's so disgusting. DEI education & policies work to protect the rights of so many people that have historically lacked inclusion & representation. It's fundamental to what we think of as our civic protections for equality as Americans. The way I see it, stripping away these programs is unpatriotic.
