If doctors feel “uncomfortable or religious conflicts” because they MAY have to perform an emergency procedure ending a pregnancy maybe they need to look into a different career. Emergency medicine means emergency medicine. Religion has ZERO place in medicine and science related issues. 😡😡

Ages ago, when I did bedside nursing (1978. -2001), we (I and other nurses) discussed nurses that opposed abortions. The general consensus was that if a nurse had an objection to a procedure or intervention provided at the our location, she/he could work at a different hospital. Always available.
