I'm trying to imagine a general strike in the U.S. In France it might be just another day in the life. In the U.S. it would likely be a colossal event.

Seven years of crime and destruction.

Conclusion: There's no reason to allow a traitor to run for president. If Garland, Smith — WHOever — doesn't put a stop to it, WTP need to flood the streets or #GeneralStrike until it IS stopped.

Perhaps France has better employment protections. Many people in the US will risk their jobs by doing this (many, if not most employers will be unsympathetic). I'm not arguing against the likely necessity, just noting an obvious challenge to organizing mass demonstrations in the US.

Retired folk, students, those not hindered by the threat of job loss. SO many Americans can participate. Even those afraid of job loss could make sure protesters or strikers have meals and other necessities. Where there's a will, there are ways.
