It's a criminal trial. The judge won't be limited to fining TFG if he continues to show contempt.

A night or two in jail is about the only thing that will stop him. And, yes, that might make his cult followers angry. But at this point, they're always angry, so fuck 'em.

I don't think the gag order applies to the judge or his daughter, only witnesses, prosecutor, and potential jurors. I could be wrong.

According to the article, the gag order doesn't apply to Justice Merchan or the prosecutor.

It IS supposed to cover all other court staff, witnesses, jurors, and their families. If TFG thinks he can go after the judge's daughter on a technicality, I think he'll be in for a rude awakening.
