What if you could walk from your home, order a coffee, and greet the neighbor that runs the place rather than driving your car to a Starbucks on a busy, sterilized stroad and ordering an overpriced drink from a soulless corporation?

Unfortunately, this is most likely illegal to build in your town.

There's a push for the 15 Minute City in the UK with the idea that every basic you could possibly need should be within 15 minutes to reduce driving, emissions, & build a sense of community, but of course the Tories are using misinformation to persuade voters why it would be bad. 🙄

It is insane how hard people will fight against something that will ultimately be incredibly GOOD for them. Once they have it, they'll be ashamed they ever fought against it.

I would deliberately buy where I could walk most places & most of my basic needs are met without having to live in a densely populated urban city.
