April Fool's Day seems to be quite polarizing. At least from what I can tell thus far, according to my timeline.

There are some who really enjoy it, but others who can't stand it.

Maybe it comes down to personality types. I know that I get annoyed with lies, so I can understand disliking it.

Folks should be far more aware of the other 364 (5 on a leap year) when they won’t expect it. 😈 😉

If it’s not hurting someone, no harm, no foul, but that’s my perspective. We will all have one and don’t have to agree.

I don't disagree. It can be funny.

Honestly I got a few chuckles today from all of the Aprils. But I do know there are some who weren't or aren't amused.

I just think it comes down to people who are okay with tomfoolery 😆 and people who like to keep things more serious.

Just fibs and fun, my friend. There’s lots of gray in between. ✌️

can you explain the “lie” part?

since it’s pretty clear that jokes =/= lies …

What is there to explain? Pretending to be someone else is lying.

Even if it's in jest - it's lying. Not everybody is going to be OK with that.
