In Illinois we were required to pass tests on the Constitution twice in order to graduate high school. Once in 8th grade (history class) and again in 11th grade (civics). The tests covered both the Illinois and U.S. Constitutions.

I know well regarded PhDs in the medical and chemistry fields who can't name them either. We devalue any class or knowledge that isn't STEM. History is generally where you learn about why civics really matters but folks memorize for tests and forget

There you go! He and the clown car Republicans in the House. Boebert, MTG, Gaetz, etc. They just go around screeching about what they want. Completely clueless about how the government works and what the rules are. They carry on like empty headed reality show contestants.
