An appellate bond normally says that the underwriter will pay the judgment if the defendant loses the appeal and cannot or will not pay.

Trump's appellate bond says that the underwriter will not pay anything.

Trump's appellate bond is not a real appellate bond.

It's a sham.

I will be deeply disappointed, but not at all surprised if the court gives him additional time to address this. When the first submission was found to be incomplete, the court should have tossed it and moved on. He has s battery of attorneys. How is it possible they're allowed all these mulligans?
