So Arizona applies an 1864 law to strip women’s rights and privilege rapists over women — and that’s apparently ok

But Colorado applied an 1866 constitutional amendment to remove an insurrectionist from the ballot — and that was apparently NOT ok?

Got it.

Arizona became a state on February 14, 1912. How is some "law" passed by some or all of what is now Arizona carry forward? 😕

Just taking away rights right in front of our eyes and they don't hold the majority. Imagine how far they'll go when totally in power. We won't stand a chance. Corruption across politicians and the legal system for Trump is working along with him to get this reality nationwide. Even blue states.

Republican judges are just like the Republican party: the bend and twist the law to suit their own interests. It's not about justice for all. Justice doesn't even enter the picture.

The GOP has end goals. The change their rhetoric to match the goal of the moment. Doesn’t have to make sense. Originalism was fine for taking rights away, but not to keep an insurrection supporter off the ballot.
