The GOP's ridiculous bills about appliances are all about climate change denial. They hate that there are regulations to make things less polluting.

So that’s what that nonsense was all about? I couldn’t figure out what they were trying to say. I need to brush up on my dumbass!

The whole thing is ridiculous! But yeah, they're usually trying to turn back some regulation that makes life better for people or the planet...

Their climate change denial is about anti-government, anti-regulation propaganda manufactured to help corporations keep more of their profits. They don't know or care whether we're polluting less or more.

My brother blames environmental regulation for appliances not lasting as long as they used to. I tried to break it to him as gently as I could that appliances are shitty for the same reason doors fall off Boeing airplanes. Still, I don't think he believed me. I'm sure Glenn Beck told him otherwise.
