Good example why, as a Gen Jones, I reject being lumped with Boomers. That white line of shitty public policies hit right at the time we were launching as adults.

One example of the "Reagan Revolution": My older siblings had no community college tuition, just modest fees. I had to take out loans.

Most older Boomers weathered the 10% unemployment of the Reagan fiscal miracle because they'd already got a start, where late Boomers/young GenX struggled to get anywhere. I don't know the stats, but from anecdotal evidence, a lot of bright people went into the military just to have a paycheck.

So much for Trickle Down. It failed from the get-go. For a more recent demonstration, look at the Kansas Experiment under Gov. Brownback.
