Why Generation Jones needs to exist... See that flat line? That's when I graduated from high school.
Thanks, Reagan.

That's my generation, too. I've lived my life working multiple jobs at a time just to get by. Now I'm old enough to be on Medicare and still working multiple jobs. Last year I had 6 jobs with 5 different employers. I'm worn out mentally and physically but still pushing forward. It's quite a slog.

My mother's (and wife's 🙄) favorite President is the one who condemned me to work harder for less. I'm never going to be happy about it, because he didn't just damage my future, he DESTROYED my children's futures.

High school Class of 1980. By 1982, when I'd decided college wasn't doing it for me, unemployment in the Flint, Mi area was in double digits, and they were laying off auto workers with 20 years seniority.

Flint, and workers everywhere, never recovered from that recession.
