This is what makes me nuts about 2024 journalism:

'His argument is a demonstration of contemporary journalism at its worst, in which inconvenient facts and obvious questions were ignored, and the facts that could be shaped to serve the preferred argument were inflated in importance.'

I was just reading this a minute ago, and it's a bunch of SMH nonsense. I loved the part about how people who leave NPR always find their way back and, as someone who took a pay cut to move on from working there back in '05 .. lol, no. Not "everyone". I agree with the "shitshow" part 👍

I’d been a daily listener for decades, since the ‘80s, but found the normalization of the MAGA extremist movement and false equivalency in 2016 really disappointing. And disturbing. I stopped turning the radio on. Now I dip in for podcasts but NPR is no longer my daily news source.
