I've been aware of the dangers of hair straightening products for around 60 years now. I can't see why anybody would want them and why such toxic things are enabled in our society. 😡 But then I've always had (thin) straight hair. Always wanted dreadlocks!

Many Black women are still under a lot of societal and career pressure to straighten their natural hair even if they'd personally prefer not to. The CROWN Acts are helping, but true freedom of choice is still not available to all.
