People who get mad at you, because they hardly ever have any issues and they hardly take even a aspirin and they feel better after it and think you need a aspirin to solve all your issues.

This is so true. Only my close friends can really tell when I'm in pain.

This is why I don’t believe that body language interpretation is a myth.

Non verbal cues are real 💯

So many folx don't see the price we pay for doing every day things most people take for granted.

I can and do still do a lot,
partner says probably too much,
if I can,
when I can,
while I still can.

Because it needs to be done and we're not made of money.

But, oh, does it cost a lot later.

I empathize with you.

I can’t do housecleaning or laundry without feeling pain for 3 days.

I use Biofreeze and a Tens machine for my back alone.

I had to start using a pillbox too.

This. Grocery shopping used to be a no-brainer. Now I have to carefully note how heavy I’m making each bag, park close to my steps, possibly plan a rest between bag #2 & #3 , drag them carefully inside the porch pantry, put fridge items in different bags from pantry items, etc. Then rest or nap.
