Last year our school district (in one of the few liberal enclaves of Utah) approved a new DEI policy. One women was so upset about it she literally cried in public comment at a board meeting. Another, at a community town hall about it, said "how are white kids supposed to feel special now?"...

That's just the tip of the iceberg. I'm under no illusions that this undercurrent hasn't always been there since white people came to America, but the freedom they feel to openly voice their views since 2016 is repulsive.
