Wonder if now would be a good time for the GOP to start pressing Trump to drop out of the Presidential race.

This trial has already been devastating to Trump, and it's only going to get worse. And, it's hurting GOP candidates by having all the attention on Trump, and the money.

Keep in mind that MAGA and GOP are cultists; that rationality has no place in any of their calculations. All they have left is their delusion, which they will cling to until they drown.

Better to keep an eye on the things they will try to destroy on the way down.

Agree that it's hurting the GQP candidates.... and I'm all for that.
By all means, Orange Cheeto Narcissist - stay in the f**king race.

I would argue that the GOP made their bed, they must lie in it. Now had the GOP rejected the Atwater southern Strategy, and let Nixon go to prison for his crimes, then it wouldn't be such an existential issue.

Isn’t the RNC now largely run by tfg operatives? I don’t see it happening.

I mean the indictments alone should have been enough for R’s to back away. . .

He is the consequence they so richly deserve.

I don't see him quitting. For a narcissist, that's like voluntarily losing.

I think his ego will eventually implode, but I've no idea how much it will take before that happens.

I like your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that it's only day 1 and the defense isn't close to presenting its case.
