Thoughts re upcoming SCOTUS immunity arguments. there is no such thing as total immunity. If there was, Nixon wld not have needed a pardon. And, even if there is partial immunity for official presidential acts, Trump’s conduct here is not within its scope.

A bad policy decision might be, but trying to undo the election results is not. Pres has no role in election process; the states do.

Not to mention, the founders would not have granted the executive “total immunity” considering they were emerging from under the thumb of a king. If one reads the Declaration of Independence, they specifically cite the king’s refusal to obey laws in their reasoning.
