New departure French country boule loaves. Stopped salt in the dough entirely. Slobbered some melted butter, or olive oil, or canola oil on the top before final rise & sprinkle coarse salt on wet surface. Also sprinkle some of same onto the parchment. Nice flavor contrasts and yeast is way happier.
