It's not that I mind the phrase, if it were used as a means of defining support, but you are right in how it divides the community.

NV means look for the communication means. Stimming should be natural and not just about disability. (I just got a pen with a fidget from a law office).

This reminds me of the LGBTQ+ discussion and how the need to separate us and /or create a hierarchy of importance is never good for the people under the Umbrella but those that are above us or want to make people deemed "undesirable" disappear. I understand what you're saying and why you hate it.
