Something I’ve found myself thinking about a bit recently is that while legit injustices exist, the potential to use civil disobedience or protest as a means of addressing injustices has gotten harder.

Civil disobedience only works in a democracy. The closer we move towards fascism, the less effective protesting becomes.

This is part of it. The other part is the next 2 generations after mass Civil disobedience were taught to sit, listen, and obey, the paternalistic leadership knows best. The country was equal now, the best in the world, and whoever had it bad deserved it. They replaced empathy with white Jesus.
