I'm thinking about buying a Mac Mini. It would be my first Apple product. My inclination is to always double the base RAM, but 'ouch' does that balloon quickly. I've read not to view Unified Memory in the same traditional sense as older computer memory. We'll see.

I've had several minis, always buy refurbished. The one I have now has 8 gigs RAM which is sufficient if you're not doing video editing. 🍏

An M4 Mini may come out later this year. Do you think I should wait to see what that does to current inventory pricing? I've no pressing need for one, just a nice to have.

Mine is M2 but I've had macs since 1995 and I always get the previous model on sale, never the latest and greatest, so they get the kinks out. Up2U. 🐳
