Most important thing to remember: Stay Calm! Don't yell, push, or grab. Try to stop the behavior before it happens ("Off"). If they still jump, turn away, freeze, and don't respond. They jump for attention so stay calm until they stop and then tell them to "Sit". #DogTips #DogsofSpoutible

I'm having a time with my 6 month old pup right now for this behavior.

If you can, take him on extra walks (have him walk behind or next to you, never in front) or try a doggie treadmill. He's young with too much energy. Good luck with him.

He's a puppy, which is the biggest part of the problem. When he was a younger puppy and he jumped, how may people said, "Oh that's ok" as they rewarded the jumping by petting him. Now he's bigger and it's not so cute anymore. Gotta train people, as well as your puppy.
