Adam Klasfeld: Merchan addresses Trump's comments yesterday at his end-of-day press conference, falsely claiming he's gagged from testifying.

"I want to stress to Mr. Trump: You have an absolute right to testify at trial."

The Constitution guarantees that right, he emphasizes.

He continued:

That is a constitutional right that will not be denied or abnegated in any way ... It is a fundamental right that cannot be infringed upon ... the order prohibiting extra-judicial statements does not prevent you from testifying in any way.

That's clear, but now Rump will say (or try to say) that he is being abnegated, and his supporters will suddenly be against abnegation, all the while NONE of them will know what the word means, LOL.
