Had to do a wellness check on 2 seniors. I was terrified. They were fine. In their bedrooms, door closed, couldn't hear the door. Accidentally put the phone on silent. Lost the phone. Reasons run the gamut but they're all alive and well. I'm frazzled af. Good lord.

I feel for you. My late friend who died last year at 87, lived alone before Covid. He was slowly getting dementia but no one lived w him, so no one saw signs. He forgot to pay bills, forgot computer pw, forgot his meds, forgot diabetes sticks, forgot how his phone worked. Cascading catastrophe.

That's so sad. I honestly worry about that happening, because I'm single and alone.

Glad they were okay (and that you’re well enough again to do a check)
