I need this! I'm always hearing birds and wondering what I'm listening to.

I showed my brother the free Merlin bird identifier app I learned about from @katiebean & he was thrilled because he walks in the park so often. Within minutes we had heard a red-wing blackbird, robin, & Baltimore oriole, all identified in the same chirping chorus. It is a fabulous app.

I finally heard a different bird in front besides the noisy family of House Sparrows. There's a Chimney Swift, too.

Yeah, we have a bunch of sparrows around here. They are chatty. I hear mourning doves pretty regularly. And when a chickadee calls out its name, I can recognize that. (Or says "cheeseburger!") The rest, I'm clueless.

It's fun and useful. Also, when I play the warbler chit sounds, the warblers in the yard chit back.
