Why can't I find a photo of the first electric generating station in the US from Roselle Park, NJ? How many times did I pass that damn thing - which was a tiny hardware store by the time I remember it.

Heavens no. That's too big! Probably part of the Church's property. Getting really annoyed Roselle Park doesn't have it on their website. I can picture it, tiny little hardware store. White w/black trim by a bridge. Ugh now it's driving me crazy. Will have to look at old maps of the town.

Ok.
I’d never heard of Roselle, so I went looking for info and found this article. This did look a bit big to become a hardware store.
Good luck searching.

Thanks. I remember passing t he silly thing for years so am surprised that it's not memorialized. That used to piss off Edison, NJ lol

Unless Roselle has an historic commission, you might be out of luck finding photos.
