Donald Trump seems to have a weird confessional tell -- he signs checks personally, precisely when he knows he's doing something wrong.

He personally signed the checks to Michael Cohen.

Just like he personally signed the checks he wrote to himself in the Trump University scam.

I saw you on MSNBC the other day and I've never said this to anyone before but ... I think you should try to look less nice.

The black Sharpie signature, can’t say someone else signed it…that definitely is not easily “replicated”

Are we sure it’s tRump insisting on signing the checks? Or could it be Weisselberg refusing to sign the ones he knows damn well could get him thrown in prison?

Trump's narcissism feels gratified when he signs his name on anything. It makes him feel important. At no time does his brain think to mention he's tying himself to a crime.

Every time I see that #sleepfarticus signature the first thing that pops in my mind is the Klan. Am I lying to myself?
