Canada Goose commonly form gangs. Not kidding. Two or more families combine. Over 5 families have been documented. AND did you know that they mate for life? With low divorce rates.

So…..I’m wondering….there’s mom, dad and new kids….are the 2 in the back kids that still want to live with mom and dad? 🤣🤣🤣

Accuracy Alert!

Based on the reliable sources provided, it can be concluded that Canada Geese do mate for life with very low "divorce rates," meaning that pairs generally remain together throughout their lifetime. The concept of 'gang brooding' in Canada Geese is supported, which suggests that multiple families can combine to raise goslings as documented in a study in Connecticut where about half of all Canada Goose goslings are raised in gang broods. However, specifics regarding the maximum number of families observed combining isn't mentioned in the sources.

In response to Phred.
Just talking about that here. Today, I saw 2 adult geese swimming with an extensive number of little ones in tow.
The hubs was just saying that he couldn’t imagine one goose having all those eggs to sit on for hatching.
