The fact Nikki Haley is still receiving over 20% of the vote two months after she suspended her campaign should terrify Trump and the GOP.

And yet it's many Dems who are terrified. They're still succeeding in their amygdala-activating fear mongering.

Part of me wonders how many of those who voted for her even KNOW she suspended her campaign?
(You can lead a voter to information...but you can't make them think.)

How much of her bote, if any, is from mail in ballots that may have been filled out before she dropped out? I am hoping the answer is zero!

It's very hard to vote by mail in Indiana.

And does, as that means they won't be coming home when the primaries are over.

They’re going to get shellacked if moderate GOP voters stay home or vote D out of spite. I hope they stay home though, that would put some seats in play.

Out of curiosity, how does her % compare to past primaries not involving TFG?

I'm really hoping that "real" Republicans look at Trump as if he were a "third party" candidate. Even though he's the "head of the Republican party". Maybe the overall Republican vote will get split between "real" Republicans and "MAGA" Republicans. Wouldn't that be nice?

Any sense for the likely electoral outcome if he’s forced out and she becomes the R candidate?

My guess is that as long as she keeps out of trouble in the things that she says and does, Nikki Haley will be the 2028 nominee.... But I have been known to be wrong...

I’m more worried about Utah’s Gov Cox. As soon as Trump is gone the Republican Party will be trying to normalize asap and Cox imo is more dangerous because he makes fascism more statesmanlike. He’s still passing the same heinous legislation while he makes nice. Chilling.
