Hmm. I first wrote on paper, then learned to write on a typewriter. I really didn't think I could write (think?) on a computer. Until I did. People who don't write probably don't realize -- our tools ARE part of the process.

Will be interested to see how this one works.

They really are. Down to the feel of the keyboard.

I haven't started writing writing, but that's next on the agenda. I think the extra note stuff and organization will really help with the process.

Writing is more physical than it seems, I agree.

And nothing is like writing by hand. Even now.

Yup.
Especially when I'm stuck. I always go back to pen & paper to outline, write fragments, and generally try to puzzle out what I'm trying to say.

It's so, so so useful.

I've had to break myself of the habit of keeping notes that way.

I got a Kindle Scribe as a gift, though and that's the closest thing plus you can covert to text and send it to yourself.
