The Democratic Party is a wide umbrella. Sometimes my current thinking is stretched when I listen to others that I might not necessarily agree with originally. Progress over perfection. Aka, I ain’t perfect.

"Progressive" has become leftist orthodoxy, And any orthodoxy is dangerous and elitist. EX: The Progressive Caucus is split into pragmatic old school progress+ives (e.g, Raskin) and ppl voting vs raising the debt ceiling or aid to Ukraine (e.g.Jayapal) because progress isn't perfect.

Moderates need a place to go. Too often the far side of each party leave them feeling unwelcome. Not a winning strategy in my opinion.
