Michael Cohen is clearly the 'big' gun' witness for the Manhattan DA. I think by sticking to a tight script during this D-E, the DA is in a solid position. They will bring out all the necessary (good and bad) testimony, cleverly preempting the defense’s tactics in the X-E.

Crucially, my view is that the prosecution has an advantage here—they can question Cohen’s credibility using his past inconsistencies and conviction.
