Media too busy covering the latest calculated-to-grab-headlines garbage spewed by Greene, Boebert, or DeSantis to keep an eye on readily available info.

I'd rather journalists monitored this last November and then had asked Minnesota agencies questions about it.

Republicans have prevented the EPA from updating levels of concern for any/all toxins for decades. The Obama administration tried hard to update some EPA and OSHA levels to match current science. Republicans either blocked them in Congress or the new rules got rolled back by the trump admin.

H3 is naturally occurring, not just a byproduct of a nuclear plant. The EPA has had it at the current levels for years, 20,000 pCi/L would lead to an annual exposure of 4 milliREM. This is not one that needs to be on the EPAs radar to change.
