😡I'm so SICK OF THESE PEOPLE trying to control women amd their bodies!😡

Colorado hospital says women can’t get their tubes tied unless they have cancer https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/2/3/2150903/-Colorado-hospital-issues-staff-reeducation-says-d...

My OB/GYN would not perform a tubaligation at 40yo. I had two children whom were never supported by their father (ex-husband). All he could say was, "You may fall in love again some day."

Women are NOT possessions. We're NOT property.

This sucks. Ron DeFascist (2011) 👇🏼

As if our healthcare system isn't bad enough, part of it is ran by religious whackos who make their own rules w/ no regard for the actual health of the patient? Figures.

Unbelievable!!
"doctors delivering babies in the hospital room April 5 onwards were told...could no longer provide post-cesarean section tubal ligations...This is a common practice for women who decide not to have more children after a C-section. Because the woman is already under spinal anesthesia

Yeah this is new for them. Extremely unfortunate because there are no other close/convenient options.
Centura system here in Colorado Springs has never ever done elective tubal ligation because I went to the city run hospital for mine In 1989. That position is consistent with being a Catholic Char

I had a doctor refuse to give me a hysterectomy because it went against her Catholic beliefs. This occurred even though it was medically necessary, I had 2 children and in my late 30s. This policy at a Catholic hospital doesn’t surprise me.

All always love when Catholics pretend to own some high moral ground!!!
“It noted that the hospital also recently issued “reeducation” of hospital staff and board members regarding the church’s ethical and religious directives.”

One thing everyone should do is check out the ownership of their local hospital(s). The Catholic Church (into which I was born) owns something like 1/6 of all hospitals, and a large % of counties only have a Catholic option. Bishops can overrule doctors, and that's not right.
