Republicans insist that Trump’s crime is too minor to justify criminal prosecution.

If you think falsifying business records in order to conceal a $130k illegal campaign contribution is a minor infraction, then I have a few Trump golf courses to sell you.

According to Republicans there's no crime big or small trump could do that warrants a criminal investigation so there's that.

Based on their formula of multiplying any crime by the number of the accused's melanin cells, minusing their net worth, then grading on a curve. Ergo, white billionaires get a slap on the wrist for crimes that haunt our great-grandkids and unarmed Black men are executed for crossing the street.

What's funny about that is that it's only a minor infraction in comparison to his many other crimes.

It was serious enough for Michael Cohen to go to prison.

They all forget the Al Capone was taken down for tax fraud. Just like Trump… Al did much worse crimes.

Great point. Also, I’m not convinced trump’s crimes don’t include some of Capone’s (ie murder), given trump used to run with the mob.
