I've never tried overnight oats because I prefer my oatmeal hot, but this looks interesting. What are your thoughts? #SpoutibleCooks .

It looks delicious! Are the cal, protein, carbs, and fat listed per serving?

Interesting. My husband soaks oats and a little salt overnight in half-and-half and then slowly cooks it in evaporated milk over very low heat for an hour. I eat it with pumpkin spices, canned pears, and fresh berries.

Very interesting! So it's overnight oats that are warmed?

I struggled to imagine cold oats as well, until I tried overnight oats. They've become a staple for me and I love experimenting with flavor combinations.

Admittedly, I still gravitate toward hot oats in the winter.

I love both overnight oats and overnight chia pudding. Anyone know what size those fido jars are???

Not sure. The recipe doesn't say. I have some at home that are 6.75 oz that I think will work.

Cold soaking is a thing. Long distance hikers do this all the time. Give it a whirl

I think they taste good but feel the same about liking it hot, especially if it is breakfast. I found them to be great for afternoon when I am craving something sweet

Great advice! Having this later in the day might be the key.
